Report: Britain Sold Nerve Gas Chemicals To Syria 10 Months After War Began

Americans Stand with Israel

So here we have another "twist" in an on-going "Who Did It?" spy novel.  To-date, we have the news reports of the possibility of Obama suggesting the use of chemical weapons and blaming it on Assad (January, 2013); in May, news reports of Turkey finding chemical weapons in the homes of the rebels; and yesterday, another report of the UK selling nerve gas chemicals to Syria in the heat of Syria's Civil War.  Add to that, the fact that the U.S. has been training and supplying weapons to the rebels - mostly al Qaeda terrorists.
NO ONE HAS CLEAN HANDS IN THE SYRIAN WAR!
Add to the mystery of who supplied what to whom, and which groups shot off chemical weapons into crowds of women and children, the deaths of over 100,000 Syrians citizens is lost in the maze of playing political "blame games" over which party is the most guilty and who should be punished.

Let us not forget the hypocrisy of having Gaddafi removed (then, tortured/murdered by al Qaeda terrorists) for not using chemical weapons, while Obama insists that whatever attack on Syria by the U.S. implies, he is not going to seek the removal of Assad, who Obama claims is responsible for using weapons of mass destruction.

ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND (100,000) Syrians are dead; with over tens of thousands of Syrian refugees seeking asylum in neighboring countries.

As a reminder, during the American Civil War, there were over SIX HUNDRED THOUSAND (600,000) Americans who died, and tens of thousands injured.  I make this comparison to demonstrate that Civil Wars are Hell on earth and innocent civilians are not exempt from suffering the consequences of such wars.  No other nation decided to bomb the USA to add to our misery, no other nation decided to "take out" our President during America's civil war, and I am against the USA involving our military.  Americans fought, died, and then, rebuilt our nation from the ground up.  Syria must do the same.

The use of chemical weapons is a crime against humanity.  But so are Dictators who murder over 100,000 of its own people; so are Islamist terrorists who shoot and murder young children for the crime of supporting their "leader".  There's enough blame to go around for people to study for the next 100 years; and no one can predict how many more years Syria will be at war with Syrians.  However, this is NOT America's fight; not America's War; and without a plan to "fix the unfixable", Congress should vote "No" to agreeing with the Obama administration to attack Syria.
One final note: the world is aware that Iran supports Assad; Iran is as much involved in the Syrian Civil War as Assad.  Rather than choose sides in Syria, the USA should be looking at the "head" of this 0n-going war - Iran.  Where's the "red" line on Iran?  Syria is a distraction, preventing blind leaders world-wide from looking at the Snake's Head - sitting comfortably in Iran.

Report: Britain Sold Nerve Gas Chemicals To Syria 10 Months After War Began

Excerpted from Daily Record: BRITAIN allowed firms to sell chemicals to Syria capable of being used to make nerve gas, the Sunday Mail can reveal today.
Export licences for potassium fluoride and sodium fluoride were granted months after the bloody civil war in the Middle East began.
The chemical is capable of being used to make weapons such as sarin, thought to be the nerve gas used in the attack on a rebel-held Damascus suburb which killed nearly 1500 people, including 426 children, 10 days ago.
President Bashar Assad’s forces have been blamed for the attack, leading to calls for an armed response from the West.
British MPs voted against joining America in a strike. But last night, President Barack Obama said he will seek the approval of Congress to take military action.
The chemical export licences were granted by Business Secretary Vince Cable’s Department for Business, Innovation and Skills last January – 10 months after the Syrian uprising began.
They were only revoked six months later, when the European Union imposed tough sanctions on Assad’s regime.
Yesterday, politicians and anti-arms trade campaigners urged Prime Minister David Cameron to explain why the licences were granted.
