Seven Of The Most Disturbing Quotes From Members Of The Obama Administration

TOWNHALL

    APRIL 27, 2012
Birds of a feather flock together and so when we see Barack Obama stacking his cabinet with radicals, it tells us a lot about his mentality. Of course, the fact that his entire term in office has been nothing but a slow motion evisceration of the American dream should tell you a lot about how he thinks, too -- but a little more evidence is always welcome. Take a look at these quotes from members of Barack Obama's administration and then ask yourself what sort of man WANTS people like this to help him govern the American people?
1) "Somewhat more broadly, I will suggest that animals should be permitted to bring suit, with human beings as their representatives, to prevent violations of current law." -- Cass Sunstein, Administrator of the White House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs in the Obama Administration. Yes, we have someone in charge of regulations in D.C. who thinks pigs should be able to sue farmers and cats should be able to sue their owners. Do you think it's a coincidence that the cost of business keeps skyrocketing under Obama because of all the new regulations?
2) "Now, people when I say that look at me and say, ‘What are you talking about, Joe? You’re telling me we have to go spend money to keep from going bankrupt?’ The answer is yes, that’s what I’m telling you." -- Joe Biden, Vice President. When this is how the Vice President of the United States thinks, is it any wonder that this country may only be a decade away from defaulting on our debts and heading into an economic death spiral that we'll never recover from in the lifespan of anyone reading this column?
3) "There’s a different leader in Syria now. Many of the members of Congress of both parties who have gone to Syria in recent months have said they believe he’s a reformer." --Hillary Clinton, Secretary of State. Yes, the butcher of Syria is a real "reformer," isn't he? If you want to know why our foreign policy has been all bowing, "leading from behind," and chaos, look no further than our Secretary of State who knew nothing about foreign policy going in, but made a career out of being married to the right man.
4) "Though this nation has proudly thought of itself as an ethnic melting pot, in things racial we have always been and continue to be, in too many ways, essentially a nation of cowards." -- Eric Holder, Attorney General. Eric Holder is a throwback to the bad old days in America, when whether you got justice or not depended on the color of your skin. Is it any wonder he doesn't care about Mexicans or a white border patrol agent who lost his life because of Operation Fast and Furious? Is it a surprise that Holder turned a blind eye to the New Black Panthers engaging in voter intimidation and putting a bounty on George Zimmerman's head?
5) "When I became the NASA administrator — or before I became the NASA administrator — (Obama) charged me with three things. One was he wanted me to help re-inspire children to want to get into science and math, he wanted me to expand our international relationships, and third, and perhaps foremost, he wanted me to find a way to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with dominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science … and math and engineering." -- Charles Bolden, NASA Administrator. When Neil Armstrong landed on the moon, he said, "That's one small step for a man; one giant leap for mankind." Well, while Obama goes on and on about "investment," "science," and "the future," we've actually taken one giant leap backwards since we no longer have a manned space program. Guess we needed to save that money to funnel into the businesses of people who contribute to Obama's campaign.
6) "One way to carry out this disapproval might be to insist that all illegitimate babies be put up for adoption—especially those born to minors, who generally are not capable of caring properly for a child alone. If a single mother really wished to keep her baby, she might be obliged to go through adoption proceedings and demonstrate her ability to support and care for it. Adoption proceedings probably should remain more difficult for single people than for married couples, in recognition of the relative difficulty of raising children alone. It would even be possible to require pregnant single women to marry or have abortions, perhaps as an alternative to placement for adoption, depending on the society." --John Holdren, Assistant to the President for Science and Technology. So, we have a man with the morals of Joseph Mengele advising the President on science. It also shouldn't be lost on anyone that while Obama is yammering on about a "war on women," he has someone on his staff who has come out in favor of FORCED ABORTIONS.
7) "Somehow we have to figure out how to boost the price of gasoline to the levels in Europe." -- Steven Chu, Energy Secretary. Ever wonder why gas prices are so high under Obama? Could it be because Obama's Energy Secretary wants to dramatically increase the price of gas? Gas is more than $8 a gallon in most of Western Europe. Guess that gives them something to shoot for if Obama gets a second term.

Pa-pa-pa-pa-netta HOPES Ganz is right????

Such is the state of United States 'intelligence' on Iran.
US Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said Thursday night that he does not have any specific information that indicates whether the Iranians have made a decision to build a nuclear weapon, AFP reported.

"I would like to hope... that because of the leadership of the United States, the international community and the leadership of Israel, they can make the right decision," AFP quoted Panetta as saying after meeting Chilean Defense Minister Andres Allamand.
I'm debating which is worse: The fact that the United States Secretary of Defense is obviously completely clueless as to Iran's intentions, or the fact that he is stupid enough to say so in a press conference.

YNet carries the original AFP report:
US Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta said Thursday that he hopes that statements from Israel's military chief describing Iran's leadership as rational were "correct."

IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Benny Gantz said Wednesday that the Iranian leadership "is composed of very rational people," and that while Tehran was reaching the point at which it could decide to build a nuclear bomb, the leaders had not yet decided whether to proceed.
...

"I would hope [Gantz is] correct and he knows something more that I do," Panetta said during a visit to Chile.

"I do not have any specific information that indicates (the Iranians) have made any decision one way or another" on whether to build a nuclear weapon, Panetta told reporters after meeting his Chilean counterpart Andres Allamand.
And keep in mind that before he became Secretary of Defense this guy headed the CIA. What the....

CONFIRMED: Russian Troops in USA Joint Exercises, Training to Target ‘Terrorists’

“After my election, I have more flexibility.”
- Barack Obama to Russian President Dmitri Medvedev
If the war on terror is over, as it was described yesterday, what is this for?
Didn’t John Brennan of Obama’s DHS just say, as the Washington Times reported, “The President does not describe this as a “war on terrorism,”” said John Brennan, head of the White House homeland security office, who outlined a ‘new way of seeing’ the fight against terrorism?” He did, didn’t he?
Then who are U.S. and Russian military personnel training to combat – and is bringing foreign troops into the United States a part of that “new way of seeing the fight against terrorism?”
To answer that question, here is another. Whom is it, the DHS has repeatedly indicated are to be regarded as suspected terrorists and ostensibly fit for the big NDAA loophole? They include the following:
  • returning war veterans
  • constitutionalists
  • those who may be considered anti-government, including those who sport the Gadsden “Don’t tread on me” Flag?
  • those who are a part of our time-honored militia movement, dating back to before the American Revolution
  • pro-lifers
And what do those in Congress say about this?
What do Republican candidates for the Presidency think of it?

Russian Troops To Target Terrorists in America As Part of Drill

Joint U.S.-Russian anti-terror exercise stokes fears of martial law
Russian airborne troops are set to train how to target terrorists in America as part of a joint anti-terror drill with the United States which will take place in Fort Carson, Colorado at the end of next month.
“Airborne troops from Russia and the United States would hold joint anti-terror drills in the U.S. state of Colorado between May 24 and 31,”reports the Xinhua news agency, citing Russian Defense Ministry Col. Alexander Kucherenko. The story was also reported by Russian news outletRIA Novosti.
The exercises, which will mark the first time the respective country’s two airborne forces have held joint drills on U.S. territory, will revolve around the the “reconnaissance of imaginary terrorists’ camp and a raid,” and will also involve evacuations of the troops by helicopter.
The Russian soldiers will also be given access to U.S. special service weapons at Fort Carson.
However, the Russian troops won’t just be confined to a U.S. military base – on May 27 they’ll be out in the local community attending a baseball game in Colorado Springs.
“This announcement comes at a time when Russia actually has troops working in cooperation with China,” points out Business Insider’s Eloise Lee, making reference to one of the largest ever Russian-Sino naval drills currently underway in the Yellow Sea.
Alex Jones has documented foreign troops being trained on U.S. soil to deal with “insurgents” since the late 1990?s as part of “urban warfare drills”.
Back in July 2010, our reporters covered the Operation Vigilant Guard exercises in Chicagowhich involved Polish troops training alongside U.S. National Guard troops in drills focused around raiding terrorists and drug dealers.

LIVE NOT BY OBAMA’S LIES

COLUMN: DON’T LOOK NOW BUT THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA MAY BE STARTING TO TURN ON OBAMA

AP Images / Corbis
BY:  -
Live not by lies,” Alexander Solzhenitsyn enjoined his countrymen shortly before being exiled from the Soviet Union in 1974. This week the political press finally took his advice.
Since August 2011, when President Obama went on a bus tour of Iowa coinciding with the Ames Republican straw poll, the White House has asked the American people to accept the fantasy that the president’s hyper-partisan speeches and appearances are not actually campaign events. The “official” rallies, Obama spokesmen said, would not begin until late in spring of 2012, when at long last the president would “engage” his Republican opponent Mitt Romney.
What “a load of you know what,” as our president might say. Obama’s every word and action is geared toward reelection. His September 2011 address to a joint session of Congress was nothing more than an act of political positioning: Challenge the Republicans to pass a tax-and-spend jobs bill that has no chance of becoming law, Obama’s thinking went, and attack them afterwards as partisan obstructionists. For the incumbent, it would be a win-win.
His February 2012 speech to the United Auto Workers convention had all the trappings of a 1930s labor rally. The president played the role of Agate in this impromptu production of “Waiting for Lefty,” whipping-up the workers in an impassioned polemic that reminded the union of who handed them Chrysler and who, like Romney, thought normal bankruptcy laws should apply even when the political interests of the Democratic Party are at stake.
At the beginning of April there was Obama’s savage and over-the-top and demagogic attack on the House Republican budget and its supporters. Delivered at the annual Associated Press luncheon, before an audience of star-struck and laughing journalists, the president accused an entire party of Social Darwinism and of wanting to inflict pain on autistic children. Then the former president of the Harvard Law Review ridiculed Romney’s vocabulary. He repeated the dishonest message a week later to an ecstatic crowd of college students.
The distinction is technical but important: If these speeches are designated campaign events, the Obama campaign must reimburse the government for the massive expense of flying the President around the country and staging elaborate such productions. If they are official government business, however, everything can be done on the taxpayer’s dime. That is why the White House website classifies these speeches as official business. All of the “campaign events” at which the president has spoken in April have been fundraisers.
Such double-talk is signature Obama: deride “politics” and “partisanship” while doing nothing but raise money and blast opponents. That most in the press dutifully repeated the administration’s ridiculous line only encouraged the Chicago Machine, resulting in the last several days of ferocious campaigning on the taxpayer’s dime.
The candidate’s intensity is no surprise. Obama has seen the polls that show his coalition is eroding. His base has three parts: minorities, single women, and young people. His failure to jumpstart American prosperity is giving him trouble with all three. His support among African-Americans may remain sky-high, but his approval among Latinos has fallen, and there is reason to doubt minority turnout will be as heavy in 2012 as it was in the historic 2008 election.
Single women, meanwhile, are as concerned about employment and income as anyone else, which is why liberals have been trying to scare them into believing that President Romney will seize their birth control, change his title to commander, and establish the Republic of Gilead.
As for young people, they are out of work, burdened by student loans, and Obama is stealing their pot.
Damage control time: The president scheduled appearances at three collegeslocated purely by coincidence in swing states, and booked a guest spot on Jimmy Fallon’s late-night talk show. His objective? Promise to keep loans cheap and, as always, slam the GOP. And do all of this not as a candidate but as a president. Otherwise he’d have to spend some of the cash in his Chicago money bin.
Campaign events? Not at all, Obama deputy campaign manager Stephanie Cutter told MSNBC’s Chuck Todd Wednesday morning, while refusing to say when the events will begin. But the visuals from the campuses—showing Obama preening and asking, “Can I get an Amen?” as hordes of squealing teenagers answered his call—was too much even for the liberal media to stomach.
How much longer do we have to pretend these POTUS events aren’t campaign events?” tweeted MSNBC’s Mike O’Brien. “This is campaigning. Just call it that,” said the Huffington Post’s Sam Stein. They were echoing ABC’s Jake Tapper, who noted last week that the White House “seemed offended” when asked whether “electoral factors” determined Obama’s travel. Seizing an opportunity, the Republican National Committee lodged a formal complaint with the Government Accountability Office, alleging that the White House was using official funds for electioneering.
The sudden refusal by the media and RNC to participate in the charade got Obama’s attention. By Wednesday evening David Axelrod and Jim Messina were on the phone telling reporters that the president’s reelection would officially kick off Saturday, May 5, with rallies at Ohio State and Virginia Commonwealth University. Just like that, the lie that Obama hasn’t been “campaigning” came to an end. But does anyone seriously doubt that Obama would have postponed his campaign’s official kickoff for as long as possible, if his traditional allies in the media hadn’t called him on it?
Perhaps this is only the beginning. Perhaps the frustration expressed in those tweets augurs a fresh look by the media at Obama’s threefold lie regarding his signature achievement: that Obamacare will lower premiums; “bend the cost curve downward”; and not cause individuals to lose their insurance. Perhaps they will begin noting that Obama’s proposals never bring the budget into balance, that the rationales for the Buffett Rule make absolutely no sense, that it is hard to say the president has been good on national security when Iran continues to arm itself, Syria commits atrocities, Egypt and Iraq go to the dogs, and Russia is ruled by a mafia boss.
If the media do not note these things, then it is up to conservatives and Romney to do it for them. It is up to us all. “So in our timidity,” wrote Solzhenitsyn, “let each of us make a choice: Whether consciously, to remain a servant of falsehood—of course, it is not out of inclination, but to feed one’s family, that one raises his children in the spirit of lies—or to shrug off the lies and become an honest man worthy of respect both by one’s children and contemporaries.”
Can I get an Amen?

Political Spin in the Classroom- How it’s Hurting America

By  on Apr 26, 2012
CONSERVATIVE DAILY NEWS

Benjamin Franklin once said “The good education of youth has been esteemed by wise men in all ages, as the surest foundation of the happiness both of private families and of common-wealths,”

He and the rest of the Founders recognized that the continuation of liberty is in the hands of an educated electorate. When the people are uninformed, they can be manipulated and enslaved- case in point- the feudalist system in the Middle Ages.
So, if the education of the public, and particularly young people, is crucial in a free society, the role of the teacher is perhaps one of the most important. They influence the individual at a crucial age- when they are discovering the world and learning to think for themselves. By opening the young mind to the wonders of society and humanity, a good professor can inspire passion in a student to succeed and change the world. And that is a truly beautiful thing.
But what happens when the teacher misuses their position? What happens when the teacher uses their position to push a private agenda, poisoning the student’s mind through malicious lies?
Given the trust and importance placed in public educators, is this duplicity not a betrayal of the free society they are supposed to be preserving?
I have spent many lectures fighting back tears of anger as my professors malign everything I believe in, mocking the conservative way of thinking, lying about the goals of an opposing party, snickering at anyone who has the guts to stand up and try to defend what they believe in. Can there be anything more despicable than a professor who uses their position to put down young people who are just learning to stand up for themselves? Yes, freedom of speech is crucial to public dialogue, and teachers have a right to their opinion, but do those opinions have a place in the classroom, especially when they are used it to be divisive and to bully?
And what about the lies? How many students take what their teachers say at face value, as they should be able to, and live in the manufactured reality of political spin? Shouldn’t we be able to place trust in our educators? Is it any wonder then, when the classroom is used as a propaganda platform, that the right wing is so unabashedly maligned in the public dialogue?
And perhaps the most crucial question, what does this mean for the future of our country? When students are lied to, taught not to think for themselves, and believe in the absolute evil of a certain way of thinking, how can a free society survive? This is where education becomes a national security issue. This is what the Founders warned about. The teacher has the power to shape the destiny of the next generation. And when they use their position to indoctrinate rather than promote critical thought, teach them to be guided by the opinions of others- that is when the next generation becomes slaves to the government, rather than the masters of it.

Bee's note:
Consider for a moment the First Lady's "Let's Move"" lunch program for ALL school children.   Understand that this program is merely an agenda that compliments Obama's - an agenda of taking over every aspect of our lives, right down to teaching our children that "government, not the parents" are better able to know what is "best" for Johnny and little Susie.  It undermines the decisions of parents and while this may not be the most important issue facing Americans, it is a part of the big issue - loss of liberty and loss of our freedom.
First Lady Michelle Obama’s anti-childhood obesity “Let’s Move” program.sounds great, so who on earth would object to her "personal" concern for the health and welfare of our children?  Well, for starters, how about keeping your darn politics our of the First Grade classrooms!  Unless you're my grandson's physician, have access to his medical records, and care more about him than his own family, I suggest Michele Obama concentrate on raising her own daughters and leave the care of our children up to the parents.  Stop implying that this administration is wiser than every single American and go find some coloring books to play with, but for goodness sake, please keep your nose out of our personal business!
"The continuation of liberty is in the hands of an educated electorate".  That means, leave the politics out of the classrooms and teach our children the "Three R;s" - reading, writing, and arithmetic!  Teach them American and World history - not some false nonsense that the Obama's spout off, as Obama did during his Cairo speech.  Keep the lies out of the classrooms and keep government out of our bedrooms.

Just for fun, here's an idea:  Have a GPS tracker follow the Obama's around and every time they chow down some hanburgers, fires and a glass of bear, sirens will go off warning Americans that the Obama's hypocrisy is being demonstrated once again!
